Searching as Exploration

Task:
Ask the users to search a book that was published by Nicolette V Roman. The users must look up an article about the same author, Nicolette V Roman about child and family studies and publish a summary of the article on the Community and Health Science Faculty Facebook page.

Learning Outcomes
To enable the users to use different search platforms to do a search.
The user must be able to change the search strategy.
User must be able to use different options

Activity.
Use the library catalog and do an author search and select the source type which is book.
Use google to look up an article about family studies by Nicolette Roman.
Design a power point presentation where you use  Sabinet Reference to look up the articles about Nicolette V Roman.

Knowledge Practices:
User must be able to determine the scope of the question. Listen to what the user is asking.
Identify interesting parties. Connect the author with an organisation.
Move from basic search option to advance search option. If the basic search option does not bring up any search results move to the advance option.
